Me and one of the exhibit panels I wrote

San Francisco’s California Academy of Sciences

For the past few months I’ve been writing a set of exhibits about climate change for the about-to-reopen California Academy of Sciences (CAS) in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. CAS has been closed for the past few years for a long-needed rebuilding. Today, I had a chance at a sneak peek at the building and the exhibits I’ve written (working in conjunction with Cinnabar California, VolumeSF, and a host of folks from CAS itself). It’s a fantastic, environmentally sensitive building designed by architect Renzo Piano.

Here are a couple of quick pix I took today; I’ll upload more in an other entry… but, if you get a chance, you have got to see this science museum. It is amazing! It officially opens to the public on September 27, and has a planetarium, fantastic aquariums, and a wonderful living roof you have to see to believe.
