Watch a WebCam Facing Earth!
I LOVE NASA!!!
If you haven’t watched this webcam mounted on the International Space Station, pointed at Earth, then now’s the time. Put it up in one corner of your screen, and you’ll have a nice feed of your home planet, up whenever conditions are right.
This project is part of the ISS HD Earth-viewing Experiment being run by NASA, assisted by high school students who helped design some of the cameras’ components. They’re part of the High Schools United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH) program, and student teams operate the experiment. In this way they learn about space operations, experiment design, and data analysis in real time. These are skills our kids can use to bring about the next steps to space for all!
